About Us
Welcome to the Michigan Lacrosse Officials Association, Inc
(MichLOA) web site. We are a statewide organization with a mission
beyond making calls on the field and interpreting the rules of the game.
Our broader goal is to promote the establishment, maintenance and
implementation of the highest standards of integrity, honesty, ethics and
consistency in the administration of lacrosse officiating at all levels of
competition. Further, we will foster and encourage fair play and
sportsmanship among officials, coaches, players and spectators.

This web site is designed to provide information about the sport of
lacrosse and the rules which govern its play. If you are interested in
learning more about becoming an official, please contact one of the
officers. If you are a coach, player or interested spectator and have a
question about the rules, please see our Rules page.

Lacrosse is called the "fastest game on two feet." It is one of the
oldest sports in North America. It is also the fastest growing sport in our
community. It affords each of its participants an opportunity to grow as
an individual, learning the values of teamwork. We will do our utmost to
make your participation in lacrosse an enjoyable and beneficial
experience.
