MichLOA Member Continuing Education Training - 2026
All MichLOA Members (including new officials) are required to attend at least two meetings listed below:
- 2/5/26 – Location De La Salle High School: 14600 Common Rd, Warren, MI 48088
- 2/18/26 –Location Detroit Country Day High School: 22305 W 13 Mile Road Beverly Hills MI 48025
- 2/24/26 – Location Farmington City Public Library: 23500 Liberty Street, Farmington, MI 48335
- 3/10/26 - Location: Farmington City Public Library: 23500 Liberty Street, Farmington, MI 48335
MichLOA Members will also be required to complete specified training as prescribed by the MichLOA Trainer/Board. Training details will be provided to members in mid January.
In order to be considered a member in good standing with MichLOA, each member must be credited with training specified annually by the MichLOA Board. Completion of specified training is a requirement to be eligible for MHSAA tournament assignment consideration.
For new officials - the New Officials Training does not count toward this training requirement.

Member in Good Standing Requirements

2.) Watch Online the MHSAA rules Video (required to be assigned games)
3.) Pass MichLOA Test (USA Lacrosse HS)
4.) Attend a minimum of 2 Continued Education Classes
5.) Film Study (3-5 Clips) - Choose a game within MichLOA Hudl in which you actually officiated the game.
6.) Watch the Coaches Panel Video
